Sebastian Gaigg

Dr Gaigg joined the Autism Research Group at City University as a Research Assistant in 2001. His primary research interests lie in the field of Developmental Affective Neuroscience - the study of the neural bases of emotions. He is particularly curious about how physiological and cognitive processes interact in shaping emotional experiences, how the brain instantiates emotional experiences and how emotional experiences shape early infant development.
