Shiri Pasternak

Shiri is an Assistant Professor in Criminology at Toronto Metropolitan University in Toronto. Among other scholarly and policy publications, she is the author of the award-winning book Grounded Authority: the Algonquins of Barriere Lake Against the State, published by the University of Minnesota Press in 2017, as well as co-author of Yellowhead Institute Red Paper reports, Land Back (2019) and Cash Back (2021).
