Shirley J. Lim

In addition to my position in the History Department, I'm an affiliate faculty in Women and Gender Studies, Asian and Asian American Studies, and Africana Studies. I have held a research fellowship at Australian National University (2010). My first book was "A Feeling of Belonging: Asian American Women’s Public Culture, 1930–1960" (NYU Press, 2006). My second book, "Anna May Wong: Performing the Modern" (2019), was published by Temple University Press.
