Historical Suicidologist and Military Medical Historian - 1800 - Modern Day

An experienced tutor and lecturer, dedicated researcher and internationally published academic with a specialism in Military Suicide and Mental Health, Gender and Power within institutions, and Military Medicine. Currently teaching and supervising history students at the University of Strathclyde whilst also teaching and supporting school pupils throughout the West of Scotland. Additionally, working as a part-time researcher and event's officer for the Scottish Government. Publishing a monograph with Bloomsbury Publishing on physical and psychological indoctrination, and abuse within the British Armed Forces in the First World War; and researching the history of mental health and suicide within the British Military 1914-2018.
