Simone Pettigrew

Professorial fellow, George Institute for Global Health

Simone is a Professorial Fellow at the George Institute for Global Health.

She has a Bachelor of Economics, a Master of Commerce, and a PhD in Consumer Research.

Her research focus is in the area of health promotion and how to encourage individuals to make behavioural changes to improve their health.

Much of Simone’s work focuses on vulnerable populations, especially, children, seniors, and low-income families.

Specific health issues of interest include food systems, alcohol consumption, tobacco use, child obesity, mental health, and ageing.
