Simone Smala

Dr. Simone Smala is a senior lecturer in Teacher Education at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, with a focus on bilingual education, languages, TESOL and ESL. She is currently conducting a research project with teachers using ChatGPT and other forms of Generative AI. She has a special interest in a teaching pedagogy called CLIL, Content and Language Integrated Learning, which focusses on all aspects of language and literacy in contemporary, often multilingual, classrooms.
