Sonia Kleindorfer

Professor of Animal Behaviour, Flinders University

Sonia Kleindorfer is a zoologist and ecologist with a particular interest in animal behavior, biodiversity conservation and evolutionary biology.

She completed her B.A. in Biological Basis of Behavior at the University of Pennsylvania, and a PhD in Zoology at the University of Vienna. To date, her fieldwork has taken her to Austria, Tanzania and Australia.

Sonia is currently affiliated with Flinders University in South Australia and University of Vienna in Austria, and her research focuses largely on the behaviour and evolution of birds, including Darwin's finches and the superb fairy-wren.
