Sophia Barnes is a writer, freelance editor and academic. She has a doctorate in English Literature from the University of Sydney, where she is currently teaching and preparing a monograph on the novels of Doris Lessing and the literary theory of Mikhail Bakhtin. She has published literary criticism and creative writing in the Sydney Review of Books, WetInk Magazine and Mascara Literary Review.
