Sri Juwana

I am a researcher. I work in Research Centre for Oceanography LIPI, Jakarta, Indonesia, since 1981. I am doing research on the production of crab seed in the laboratory. I.e. on the blue swimming crab Portunus pelagicus; and the mangrove crabs, Scylla serrata and Scylla paramamosain.

The success of the production of crab seed led me to do research on the growing of the crab seed in the natural environment. I use bottom net cages for rearing enclosure of the crab seed.
