Stefanie Kappler

Associate Professor in Conflict Resolution and Peace Building, Durham University

I am an Associate Professor in Conflict Resolution and Peace Building at Durham University. Before taking up my post at Durham University, I was Director of the Archbishop Desmond Tutu Centre for War and Peace Studies at Liverpool Hope University. I hold a PhD in International Relations from the University of St Andrews. I am currently working on projects related to the memory and cultural heritage of conflict (see http://peaceandmemory.net/). I have worked on peacebuilding, resistance, space and the arts in Bosnia-Herzegovina, South Africa, Cyprus, Kosovo and Northern Ireland.
