Stefanie Khoury is a Research Associate at the University of Liverpool (UK). She holds a joint PhD in the Sociology of Law from the Universit degli Studi di Milano (Italy) and the Universidad del Pas Vasco (Basque Country, Spain). Stefanie holds an MA from the Oati Institute of the Sociology of Law (Basque Country, Spain), a Certificate in Law from Universit de Montral (Qubec, Canada), and a BA (Distinction) from McGill University (Quebec, Canada).
She was Visiting Scholar (2011) and has been Honorary Research Fellow (2014-2016) at the University of Liverpool. Stefanie's research focuses on corporate accountability and international human rights law. Other interests broadly include researching the powerful, critical socio-legal studies, and qualitative research methods.
Stefanie is co-author of Corporate Human Rights Violations: Global Prospects for Legal Action (with D. Whyte, Nov. 2016).
