Reader in Forensic Biology, University of Huddersfield

I have been actively involved in research and teaching since 1997 and throughout my career I have maintained an active research interest in Ecology, Entomology and Molecular Phylogeny. I have focused my entomological studies on morphological and physiological adaptations of insects to low temperature, on Forensic Entomology and, during the last years, on Funerary Archaeoentomology. In Molecular Phylogeny I have studied the evolution of respiratory pigments and proteins related with human diseases.
