Stephanie Vos

Stephanie Vos is a postdoctoral fellow at Africa Open Institute, where she runs the Interdisciplinary Forum for Popular Music. She's the curator of the Jazz Conversations, a series of public interviews and performances featuring the likes of Nduduzo Makhathini, Kyle Shepherd, Carlo Mombelli and Thandi Ntuli. Stephanie's research interests include South African jazz and the politics of place, the music of Abdullah Ibrahim, contemporary South African jazz and the anthropology of events.
