Stephen is the Deputy Director of the Centre for Health Economics Research and Evaluation (CHERE), University of Technology Sydney. He conducts, teachers and supervises applied research in the fields of advanced economic modelling of health programs. Stephen's research is primarily in health technology assessment. He leads a large and experienced team of researchers undertaking multi-million dollar research of behalf of the Government. This includes providing evidence-based health technology assessments of medical procedures, diagnostic tests and services to the Medical Services Advisory Committee (MSAC); and appraisal of pharmaceutical and vaccine industry submissions to the Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee (PBAC).
