Associate Professor of Management, Curtin University

I have a doctorate in business from Warwick University in the UK and have pursued an international career in the commerce and education sectors in Asia, North America, Australasia and Europe. My areas of expertise are global mobility and networks, work transitions and comparative ethical HRM. For a number of years I have worked in the global mobility of professionals space and I am interested in how mobility and networks contribute to business development and expansion. I am also working on a global study of ethical human resource management, interviewing HR managers in relation to ethical and professional issues, We currently have data from the UK, Canada, Brazil and Colombia and other interviews are ongoing in other parts of the world. I am also involved in an exciting project investigating the career transitions of elite athletes in high-contact sports, particularly Aussie Rules, rugby (Union and League) and ice hockey.
