Postdoctoral research assisstant, University of Glasgow

After completing a BSc (hons) in Immunology in 2014 at the University of Glasgow, I started a PhD in the lab of Dr Clive McKimmie (University of Leeds) investigating the host immune response to mosquito bites and mosquito borne viruses. After a successful PhD, I graduated in 2018 with a thesis title: " Targeted Application of Topical Innate Immune Agonists as a Putative Measure Against Arbovirus Infection". Upon completing my PhD, I moved to the University of Glasgow MRC-Centre for virus research where I am now a researcher in Prof. Alain Kohls group.
