Steven Wiederman is currently a Lecturer in the School of Medicine at The University of Adelaide, Australia. Steve received his Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Systems) and Bachelor of Medical Science at the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) in 2005. He was awarded a PhD (Physiology) in 2009. Presently, leads the Visual Physiology & Neurobotics Laboratory. His research investigates the neural processing underlying the visual discrimination of features within clutter. This multidisciplinary approach involves intracellular, electrophysiological techniques and the development of numerical models that mimic complex biological processes.
