I'm a Teaching Fellow at Royal Holloway's Centre for the Development of Academic Skills. I am involved with the design and delivery of a range of academic support courses across the institution, with a particular professional interest in creating in-department, subject-specific support.

My research interests generally focus on trying to understand the nature of student writing, and the pedagogy of academic reading and writing.

I am also working on a PhD in 19th century Anglo-German relations. My historical interests lie in fields such as Victorian media, intercultural transfer, migration history and 19th century religious dissent.
