I completed my PhD, focusing specifically contemporary Dandyism in Gothic and cult television in Britain and America from 1960-2003. Other areas of interest include fashion, Irish literature and culture, anthropology, visual representation of subculture, comedy and parody, masculinity, Deaf culture, representation of gender in the military, post-traumatic distress syndrome (PTSD) and gothics, science fiction and horror.
