Senior Research Fellow, Research Centre for Children and Families, University of Sydney

Dr Susan Collings is Senior Research Fellow at the Research Centre for Children and Families which focuses on research with vulnerable families, including those involved in child protection and out of home care. Susan leads research that explores the complex issues facing vulnerable families and that aims to improve the way services and systems work. Susan is passionate about using participatory approaches to ensure collaboration with people with lived experience in designing solutions that meet their needs and recognise their strengths. She is recognised for her contribution to the field of parenting with disability.
