Susan has 16 years’ experience working in clinical and research roles involving Gestational Diabetes and Diabetes. Previous studies include Effect of Treatment of Gestational Diabetes Mellitus on Pregnancy Outcomes (ACHOIS), Metformin versus Insulin for the Treatment of Gestational Diabetes (MIG), Liraglutide and Cardiovascular Outcomes in Type 2 Diabetes (LEADER). Current projects are The Treatment Of BOoking Gestational diabetes Mellitus Study (The TOBOGM study) and Metformin in Women With Type 2 Diabetes in Pregnancy Trial (MiTy).
