Suzana Almoosawi

Dr Suzana Almoosawi is a research scientist at Newcastle University. Suzana’s began her career working with the food industry on understanding the role of functional foods in health. Following her PhD at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, Suzana moved to work as a post-doctoral scientist at the MRC Human Nutrition Research In Cambridge where she researched the role of time of eating in relation to chronic diseases. Her current work focuses on the role of eating behaviour in promoting overweight and obesity in children.
