Tamara Wood is a doctoral candidate at the Andrew and Renata Kaldor Centre for International Refugee Law, UNSW. She researches and writes on refugee protection and human rights in Africa. She has published in international journals on refugee protection, migration and international law. In 2014 she was the consulting legal expert for the Nansen Initiative's Horn of Africa consultation.
