Professor Thomas Roche is the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic Quality) at Southern Cross University and Dean, SCU College. He leads the University’s strategic initiatives relating to the enhancement of education quality. He has recently been involved in co-creating and rolling out the new Southern Cross Model. His primary research interests are in Higher Education program design and assessment: Applied Linguistics, Academic Literacies, Additional Language Development (L2). He has significant teaching and senior management experience in higher education programs for international and domestic students, helping students from diverse backgrounds reach their educational and personal goals.
