Zebrafish Cancer Genetics Research Assistant, Penn State

After graduating, I pursued research in aquatic ecology at the Washington State Department of Ecology in Olympia, WA. During this time I developed a keen interest in the effects of environmental pollutants on humans and other organisms. This lead me to the Cheng Lab, where we are using zebrafish as a model organism to study the effects of genetic and environmental factors through phenomics.
