Dean of Student Affairs, University of Stirling

Professor Tim Whalley is Dean of Student Affairs at the University of Stirling.

Tim studied Biochemistry and then completed a PhD in Cell Physiology, both at UCL. He then was awarded a fellowship to become a post-doctoral research fellow in Molecular Membrane Biology at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD, USA, where he studied the membrane cell biology underpinning fertilization and early development.

He returned to the UK to take up a position as lecturer in Cell Biology at the University of Stirling and was appointed Dean of Student Affairs in 2014.
