Senior Lecturer, University of Exeter

I work in the field of historical political ecology with a particular interest in the politics of everyday struggles over environmental change. My research investigates the points of connection between environment, technology, politics and everyday life in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. I teach modules on environmental history, anthropogenic climate change and global history at the University of Exeter's Penryn Campus. I also curate an occasional blog that seeks to bring together my research and teaching interests.
