Timothy Moore

Dr Timothy Moore heads the Education and Learning Unit at the Nossal Institute for Global Health, University of Melbourne. For most of the past three decades he has worked in the Asia-Pacific focussing on refugee health and HIV prevention, in the NGO, government, private and UN sectors; notably with MSF in Hong Kong, WHO in Indonesia, the Burnet Institute regionally, and with refugees on the Thai-Burmese border. Currently Tim coordinates and teaches for the University’s Master of Public Health, medical program, new Diploma in Tropical Medicine & Hygiene, and Population Health Program for the Victorian Department of Health. He also conducts research on mining, women and development in Thailand and Laos.
