Lecturer in Law, Curtin University

Tomas is a Lecturer at the Curtin School of Law. He was previously a research fellow at the Minderoo Tech & Policy Lab at the UWA School of Law.

He has lectured in the areas of Advocacy, Legal Philosophy, Tort and Intellectual Property and has coached the International Trade Law Moot program, as well as a wide variety of state, national and international moot teams.

Prior to taking up an academic appointment, Tomas worked as part of the in-house legal team of a multi-national public company for two years. During that time he worked on a diverse range of matters within the areas of Intellectual Property, International Commercial Arbitration, Industrial Relations and Civil Litigation generally.

Tomas holds a BA (majoring in Philosophy and Literature), and an LLB, and has published a number of articles in the area of Intellectual Property and International Trade Law and presented conference papers on Jurisprudence. His research interests include effective regulatory systems, and applied legal theory.
