I have a PhD in Politics from the University of Edinburgh. My interests are in feminism, gender, international politics, Brexit, security studies, institutional transformation with specialisms in the practices of regional security architectures. I am especially interested in the how gender functions in narratives of security practices. I received my MA in International Relations from the University of Cape Town and a BA in International Relations, with a minor in Political Science from the University of California, Davis
