Tony Collins

Tony Collins is professor of history at the International Centre for Sports History & Culture at De Montfort University in the UK. He is the author of several books on the history of sport, the most recent being 'Sport in Capitalist Society' and 'The Oval World: a global history of rugby'. His new book, 'How Football Began: the global origins of the world's football clubs' will be published in 2018
