Trisha Tucker

Trisha Tucker is an Associate Teaching Professor of Writing in the Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences at the University of Southern California, where she also oversees the honors writing program. Trisha holds a Ph.D. in English. Her scholarly and pedagogical interests include nineteenth-century British literature, women’s popular writing, Evangelicalism and Evangelical reading practices, secularization, children's and young adult literature censorship, book bans, supporting first-year student learning and the transition to college, trauma-informed teaching, and building communities of trust and engagement in the classroom.
