Dr Nase is an expert is in air and space law, torts, advocacy and international mooting.

As a mooting coach his teams have won the IASLA Space Moot and the Torts Law Moot. Over the past three years Dr Nase's teams have won 12 international awards and continue to rank highly in all moots contested.

Additionally, Dr Nase has published in leading journals such as the Torts Law Journal, the German Journal of Air and Space Law (Zeitschrift Für Luft ), the Kluwer Journal of Air and Space Law and the A ranked Journal of Air Law and Commerce.

At Curtin University Dr. Nase holds the position of Head of the Law Department. He teaches the subjects Introduction to Tort Law and Advanced Tort Law in addition to coaching international mooting teams to compete in the IASLA Space Moot and the Manfred Lachs International Space Law Mooting Competition in 2014.

Dr Nase plans to teach the subject Air and Space Law as an elective subject for Curtin's LLB students. He continues to teach the subject International Air Law at post graduate level.
