Victoria Koski-Karell

MD/PhD Anthropology Candidate, University of Michigan

Victoria Koski-Karell is a candidate in the MD/PhD Anthropology program at the University of Michigan. After graduating from Harvard College in 2012, she worked as a research assistant to Dr. Paul Farmer at Partners In Health. Her doctoral scholarship primarily engages the fields of critical medical anthropology, science & technology studies, political ecology, social medicine, and Caribbean studies. Her dissertation research, based in the urban and rural areas of Saint-Marc, Haiti, explores how the presence of cholera in Haiti since 2010 is affecting people's relationship to and relationships through water.
