W. Carsten Andresen

Professor W. Carsten Andresen has taught at St. Edward's University for five years within the Criminal Justice Department. Prior to that, Dr. W Carsten Andresen worked as a researcher at Travis County Justice Planning and Travis County Adult Probation. He received his PhD from Rutgers University in Criminal Justice. His research interests include the Gay and Trans Panic Defenses, Race-Ethnicity and Policing, the County Jail/Criminal Justice System, Community Corrections, and Film Noir.
