Principal investigator FMD risk management, CSIRO

Dr Wilna Vosloo is an internationally renowned expert on foot and mouth disease (FMD) working at CSIRO's Australian Animal Health Laboratory (AAHL) in Geelong, Victoria.

Dr Vosloo is the principal investigator on an FMD Risk Management Project sponsored by the Australian Government and industries.

Dr Vosloo has been awarded a:
* Bachelor of Science (Honours), majoring in microbiology and biochemistry, from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, 1986
* Master of Science in microbiology from the University of Pretoria, 1992
* Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Cape Town, 1998.
