I received my PhD in Economics from the Paris School of Economics (PSE) in the Fall of 2011, and was a Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute for the academic year 2011/2012. On leave from Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, I am currently a Research fellow at CEMFI, where I am in charge of the implementation of the Survey of Health, Ageing, and Retirement in Europe (SHARE) in Spain as part of the Spanish country team.

My current research interests focus on issues related to mortality and working conditions; and the impact of educational "over-achievement" on students' well-being.
