Dr. Yolanda Fernández Díez graduated with a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Oviedo in 2010.
Her research lies in the realms of environment-friendly processes to produce valuable compounds, such as fuels or chemicals, and in the synthesis of novel materials for different technological applications.
In 2012, she moved to Heriot-Watt University where she is currently working on all aspects affecting the global efficiency of CO2 photo-reduction using titania-based catalysts.
