Scientists map cancer hotspots

Researchers have created a comprehensive map of genetic information in the ribonucleic acid (RNA) linked with cancer development.

Using a new technique, a team of researchers tracked “sign posts” in the RNA that will help expand present research on the contribution that RNA makes to cancer.

The study revealed that the patterns were much more prevalent and systematic than previously thought.
