Scientists weigh in mammals

The secret behind the size differences of mammal families has been found by Monash University scientists.

The research found species which matured faster and produced more offspring were more likely to develop as larger animals.

The study examined the evolutionary differences of the largest and most minute mammals including; whales, primates and rodents.
