Sitting pad to help you stand up

A sitting pad has been developed that uses an alarm to tell you when you’ve been seated for too long.

The device measures how long a person has sat at their desk, and sets off an alarm after a determined time. It stops once they stand up.

Sitting for lengthy periods of time has been linked to heart disease, obesity, and back, wrist and neck injuries.
