Social media overuse hurts businesses

Businesses that post too frequently on social media are at a greater risk of being “unfriended” or losing followers.

A survey of over 1500 English-speaking individuals by Christopher Sibona and Steven Walczak from the University of Colorado found customers appreciate personalised interactions.

Controversial topics would ideally be avoided as they polarise consumers.
