Test-tube’ sperm

Japanese scientists have made advances which may have applications for treating male infertility. They have successfully grown mouse testes cells and induced them to produce sperm outside of the testes, which in turn produced healthy and fertile mice. The tissue was also still able to produce sperm after being frozen and thawed before use.
