The keys to life on Earth-like planets

Earth-like planets that may be habitable to life are more abundant than stars.

By comparing habituated zones on earth with those that don’t support life, researchers have determined that planetary habitation relies on the presence of liquid water, a narrow range of temperature and an energy source.

The increasing number of discovered planets and broadening of habitable terrestrial environments increase the probabilities of discovering extraterrestrial life.
