The origins of life found in sugar and amino acids

A study into Ribonucleic Acid (RNA) precursors shows how a combination of sugars and amino acids offer a possible explanation on the origins of life.

The study - “A Route to Enantiopure RNA Precursors from Nearly Racemic Starting Materials” - indicates that the precursors to RNA may have existed on Earth, before life existed.

The research team generated amino acids into naturally occurring sugars to attain their results.
