Researchers at the Australian National University have improved energy storage technology inside electronic devices.
They developed the Single Layer Capacitor (SLC), which shows several advances over standard Multi-Layer Capacitors. The new technology has greater temperature stability, is more efficient and easy to make.
The Single Layer Capacitor is expected to have applications in automotive and space technology, as well as power electronics and consumer electronics.
