Well-informed health practitioners key to child immunisation

Well-informed doctors and nurses are the key to preventing parents refusing childhood immunisations because of vaccine scare campaigns. In a study exploring the unwarranted safety fears that threaten the uptake of new vaccines, researchers found health professionals could be swayed by community concerns about new vaccines, even when those concerns are not scientifically founded.
