Divorce might be more prevalent in younger generations but research shows divorce at a younger age harms your health more than divorce later in life.
Findings show that among people born in the 1950s, those who got divorced between the ages of 35 and 41 reported more health problems than those who got divorced between the ages of 44 to 50.
The study points to a potential need to provide better social and family support for younger divorced couples.
