Overseas aid organisations are struggling to close the gender gap in the countries in which they are working.
A survey of 15 non-government organisations (NGOs) by Australian National University researchers, Dr Patrick Kilby and Jo Crawford found that greater investment would be needed to help them really make a difference for women in the developing world.
