Pesticide exposure lowers children’s IQ

Prenatal exposure to organophosphate pesticides has the potential to lower children’s IQ, according to three studies published last month the United States. Children who had been exposed to the pesticides before birth scored up to seven points lower on the IQ scale than those who hadn’t.
